After overhearing the farmer tell his wife that he is "too old to be the Easter Bunny" for their grandchildren, Minnie and Moo try to convince the farm animals to take on the job because the grandchildren are expecting an egg hunt. After all the farm animals say no, Minnie and Moo decide to play the part themselves. To their surprise, all the other barnyard animals decide to play the part too. The story has a happy ending where everyone joins in an Easter parade. Humorous illustrations accompany the text.
