This dessert just shouts "It's spring." It's bound to be a hit with any Easter dinner. French vanilla or lemon pudding can be used in place of the vanilla pudding if you prefer.

Strawberry Pineapple Angel Layers
Ingredients:
1 (3 oz.) pkg. vanilla instant pudding and pie filling
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, do not drain
1 C frozen whipped topping thawed
1 prepared angel food cake
10 fresh strawberries, sliced
Preparation:
Dump the pudding mix into a large mixing bowl.
Fold the pineapple into the pudding mix until well combined.
Stir in the whipped topping until completely incorporated together.
Cut the cake into three layers horizontally.
Place the bottom layer of the cake onto a serving platter.
Spread 1/3 of the pineapple mixture over the cake layer.
Place 1/3 of the strawberry slices on top of the pineapple mixture.
Repeat the layers using the remaining slices of cake, pineapple mixture and strawberries.
Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
Makes 10 servings
