DIY Father's Day Shirt and Tie Greeting Card

Make dress shirt and tie greeting card for dad. You can write your special message inside!
Supplies needed (substitutes may be used):
- Tie and card template (Download template)
- Pencil for tracing
- 2 pieces of cardstock
- 2 white buttons
- Glue (or glue gun for fast drying)
- Scissors
- Marker for creating pattern tie if desired
Step 1: Gather materials

Step 2: Download the template and use as a pattern for the tie and card. Fold on the dotted line.

Step 3: Using the template, trace the shape of the tie from card stock or construction paper.

Step 4: Use the template to mark cutting and folding lines on your paper.

Step 5: Cut out the rectangle. Fold on the dotted line and then cut short lines on each side of the card.

Step 6: Fold the sides of the card at an angle to look like the picture below. The fold should make the card appear like a shirt collar.

Step 7: Glue the tie in place and then glue the shirt collar.

Step 8: Glue buttons on shirt collar. When dry, write your message inside!
