Catalina Dressed Steaks - To tell if your steaks are done to perfection use a meat thermometer. For medium rare the thermometer should read 145 degrees. For medium the temperature should be 160 degrees and for well done the thermometer should read 170 degrees.

Catalina Dressed Steaks
Ingredients:
1 tbsp olive oil
1 1/2 tsp garlic, minced
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp pepper
4 (6 oz.) boneless beef sirloin steaks
1 C Catalina salad dressing, divided
Preparation:
Set the oven on the broiler setting and allow the broiler to preheat.
Place the oil into a small bowl.
Stir in the garlic, oregano and pepper.
Rub the mixture on both sides of all the steaks.
Brush both sides of the steaks with the dressing.
Place the prepared steaks on a broiler pan sprayed lightly with a cooking spray.
Broil 4 inches from the heat for 6 minutes.
Turn the steaks and continue broiling an additional 5 minutes or until the steaks reach your desired doneness.
Pour the remaining salad dressing over each steak before serving.
Makes 4 servings
