Classy Beef Tips - Serve these easy but classy beef tips over rice or mashed potatoes. If you prefer not to use red wine a 1/4 C of beef broth will work in its place.

Classy Beef Tips
Ingredients:
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can of beef broth
1/4 C of red wine
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp butter
1/2 C fresh green beans, cut into 1 inch pieces
1/4 C carrots, sliced
1 tbsp onion, chopped very fine
1 (17 oz.) pkg. refrigerated beef tips with gravy
1/2 tsp parsley flakes
Preparation:
Pour the broth and wine into a mixing bowl.
Whisk in the cornstarch until smooth then set aside.
Place the butter in a skillet and place the skillet over medium heat.
Stir the beans, carrots and onion into the melted butter.
Sauté the vegetables for 4 minutes or until tender.
Add the beef tips including the gravy into the skillet stirring to blend in well.
Stir the broth mixture into the skillet.
Bring the mixture to a boil and stirring constantly cook the mixture for 2 minutes or until it begins to thicken.
Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the parsley until well combined.
Makes 4 servings
