Ranch and Garlic Wings - If Dad likes chicken wings but just can't handle those hot and spicy wings these will be perfect for him. Fry some up for him to enjoy while he relaxes watching his favorite TV shows. Add a little ranch dressing on the side for a dip.

Ranch and Garlic Wings
Ingredients:
Oil for deep frying
1 C of flour
1 lb. chicken wings
1 envelope of dry ranch salad dressing mix
1 tsp garlic, minced
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
Preparation:
Pour the oil into a deep fryer or skillet and allow it to heat to 375 degrees.
Dump the flour into a sealable plastic baggie.
Add the chicken wings a few at a time, seal the bag and shake until the wings are well coated.
Place the wings a few at a time into the hot oil and fry for 8 minutes or until the juices run clear when pricked with a fork and the wings are a crispy golden brown.
Remove the wings and drain on paper towel.
Continue until all the wings have been fried.
Preset the oven temperature to 350 degrees.
Spray a large baking pan with a non stick cooking spray.
Place the ranch dressing mix into another baggie.
Add the garlic, salt and pepper, seal the bag and shake until the ingredients are combined well.
Add the fried chicken to the bag a few at a time, seal and shake to coat the chicken.
Place the coated chicken into the prepared baking pan.
Bake 8 minutes or until the coating is set.
Makes 1 dozen wings
Preparation Time: approximately 10 minutes
Frying Time: approximately 24 minutes (3 batches)
Baking Time: approximately 8 minutes
Total Time: approximately 42 minutes
