Teriyaki Basted Broiled Steaks - Doesn't Dad always grill the steaks? Not on Father's Day. These steaks will taste just as good as those steaks from the grill. Serve with a salad, stuffed potato and a sweet delicious dessert for the perfect evening meal.

Teriyaki Basted Broiled Steaks

Ingredients:

• 6 (12 oz) New York Strip Steaks
• 1/2 C of teriyaki sauce

Preparation:

1. Set the oven to the broiler setting and let the broiler heat up.
2. Brush the steaks on both sides with the teriyaki sauce.
3. Place the steaks on the broiler pan.
4. Broil 4 inches from the heat for 6 minutes.
5. Turn the steaks and brush again with the sauce.
6. Continue broiling 6 to 8 minutes or until the steaks reach desired doneness.

Makes 6 servings

Preparation Time: approximately 8 minutes
Broiling Time: approximately 12 to 14 minutes
Total Time: approximately 20 to 22 minutes
