Firecracker Red Slaw - Don't worry if your cabbage looks to dry. As it chills the cabbage will wilt allowing the natural juices to accumulate to help moisten the cabbage. Be sure to stir the slaw before serving and if too much liquid has accumulated drain the liquid so the cabbage doesn't become too mushy.

Firecracker Red Slaw
Ingredients:
1/2 head of green cabbage, shredded
1/2 C of cider vinegar
1/4 C of sugar
1/3 C of ketchup
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp red pepper sauce
Preparation:
Place the cabbage into a large serving bowl.
In a small bowl whisk together the vinegar, sugar and ketchup until well blended.
Stir in the salt, pepper and red pepper sauce and continue stirring until the sugar has completely dissolved.
Pour the dressing over the shredded cabbage stirring to coat well.
Cover and chill for at least 1 hour before serving being sure to stir again just before serving.
