Young at Heart
by Roger J. Robicheau
Remember back when you were young
You’d play and play, that world of fun
There was not much that could go wrong
Cause you were healthy, oh so strong
Your bike was used to get you where
Much joy was had, you felt no fear
A friend would often ride beside
To be a part, to play with pride
You ate good food from day to day
But sweet was best, you’d always say
That set you watched was liked so well
On Saturday morn, ‘twas always swell
So young at heart is what I feel
To think these thought’s which come back real
For one last time I’d like to say
"Could I please go outside and play"
