A great book that portrays pride in workmanship. Tortoise, who loves
his job, is careful to put the mail in the right place. Unfortunately,
the animals of the forest think that he's too slow. Tortoise, who only
wants the best for his animal friends, allows others take over his job.
The results are disasterous - Rabbit delivers so fast she puts all the
mail in wrong boxes and Crow drops mail everywhere he flies. Just when
everyone thinks Fox is perfect for the job, Tortoise finds a stash of
deliveries that Fox was keeping for himself. Tortoise follows each substitute
and corrects their mistakes as they go along. In the end, everyone agrees
that Tortoise is the best one for the job!
