Below is a scrambler puzzle of part of the Korean War Memorial located in the National Mall in Washington, D.C. How many clicks does it take you to put the puzzle back together? When complete, study about the monument.

The Korean War Memorial displays 19 'bigger than life' statues of soldiers marching through rice paddies. Beside the statues is a black granite wall engraved with faces of Korean War veterans. Can you answer these questions?

  • Who built it?

What are scramblers?

A scrambler is a program that chops up an image and scrambles up the pieces (requires the java plugin). The object of the game is to swap 2 pieces at a time until all pieces end up in position to form the completed picture. These scramblers all come with a 4 minute timer. Can you beat the clock? These games require a keen eye for detail. Now that you've created the picture, can you find out more information about this monument?
