The Lincoln Memorial is located in the National Mall in Washington, D.C. Completed in 1922, it is made from twenty separate marble blocks that took 13 years to join. The Memorial houses Daniel Chester French's statue of a seated Abraham Lincoln. The texts of the Gettysburg Address and Lincoln's Second Inaugural are carved into the marble walls.
A scrambler is a program that chops up an image and scrambles up the pieces (requires the java plugin). The object of the game is to swap 2 pieces at a time until all pieces end up in position to form the completed picture. These scramblers all come with a 4 minute timer. Can you beat the clock? These games require a keen eye for detail. Now that you've created the picture, can you find out more information about this monument?
