A great children's book to share Irish culture and way of life. Young Jamie wakes up early on March 17th. His father and older brothers are going to be part of the St. Patrick's Day parade and he's told that he's too little to participate because he would never be able to march up to the top of Acorn Hill. While everyone is asleep, he decides to prove his family wrong. He takes matters into his own hands and marches to the top of Acorn Hill with his dog Nell. He plays his flute as he marches to create a parade of his own. The audio cassette shares narration of the story with an authentic Irish accent. Irish music plays in the background.
