Word search puzzles make great tools for teachers by allowing review
of vocabulary words by theme. Below are some word searches
(alphabetical by theme) that may go well with a particular
unit of study in the classroom.

Printing Instructions:
Begin the word find game by clicking the button that says "Click to Play" - the interactive word find will be displayed with the word list. To print the word search puzzle, click on the printer icon that is next to the "start over" button embedded in the game. This way, just the word search puzzle will print without extra elements on the page (website navigation or advertising). To print an answer sheet, you need to let the timer run out. Answers are revealed at that time. Click on the printer icon when you see the puzzle with all the circled answers. If you want an answer sheet, remember to follow this step before creating a new puzzle.
To create a new puzzle using different words and word placements, click on the "start over" button. A new word puzzle generates with random words from the thematic word list.
